Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 2025
FxGo ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect when you use fxgo.io, how we use it, and what rights you have.
1. Information we collect
FxGo does not require you to create an account. We do not collect personal information unless you voluntarily contact us.
When you visit our site, our server logs may automatically record:
- Your IP address (anonymised after 24 hours)
- Browser type and version
- Pages visited and time spent
- Referring URL
This information is used only for security monitoring and aggregate analytics. It is never sold or shared with third parties for marketing purposes.
2. Cookies
We use a minimal set of cookies:
- Preference cookie — stores your cookie consent choice (
fxgo_cookie_consent) in your browser's local storage. It contains no personal data. - Session cookie — a standard Laravel session cookie used to maintain your browsing session. It expires when you close your browser.
We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking cookies, or any third-party analytics cookies such as Google Analytics.
3. Third-party services
FxGo integrates with the following third-party services:
- exchangeratesapi.io — our exchange rate data provider. Rate fetches are performed server-side by our scheduler; your browser never contacts this service directly.
- Font Awesome — icon library loaded via CDN. This may record a server request log on their end.
- Google Fonts — if used, fonts are loaded via Google's CDN. If this concerns you, all pages are designed to degrade gracefully to system fonts.
4. Contact form data
If you submit a message via our contact form, we collect your name, email address, and message content solely to respond to your enquiry. This data is not used for marketing and is deleted once your query is resolved.
5. Data retention
Server logs are retained for up to 30 days. Contact form submissions are retained for up to 90 days. No other personal data is stored.
6. Your rights
If you are located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have rights under the GDPR / UK GDPR, including the right to access, correct, or delete your data. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address below.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of FxGo after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
8. Contact us
